"The NDSU coach that offered me was head coach Chris Klieman," Lombard (Ill.) Montini Catholic cornerback Mitch West said to Scout.com. "He just said he really liked my speed and film, and liked my attitude as well. He didn't get into specific at what position he wanted me at, but I'm guessing it's at corner. Coach Klanderman came by to see me already, so I feel great about this new offer.

West is well-aware of what's going on up in Fargo.

"I'm pumped about the offer as it's a great opportunity," West explained. "The football tradition there is amazing. I haven't visited there, but I will in the summer for sure. I'll definitely be on a visit there then, but I'm not sure about camp. North Dakota State is definitely a possible place I could end up, but I have to see the campus and meet all the coaches before I make a choice."

The Illinois wide receiver will be heading out east to camp this summer.

"I'm also hearing from Ball State, Air Force, Wyoming, Boston College and Northern Illinois," West said. "I'm going to Boston College camp this summer. I went out there this spring and they said they wanted to see me in person to help them make a choice on offering or not. Air Force is going to get back to me in a couple weeks about an offer, and I've just been in contact with the other schools. I'll also be hitting the Purdue camp too. I'm just going to make a decision when it feels right."
