Bison quarterback signee Holden Hotchkiss wants a rematch with James Madison by the time he graduates from NDSU

Lakeland (Fla.) quarterback and new NDSU signee Holden Hotchkiss is the latest Bison to sign in the 2017 class and he went in-depth with the to share more about his reasons to sign with North Dakota State. What is your current height and weight? What weight would the NDSU staff like you to report at this summer?

Holden HotchkissI'm 6'4" 205 lbs, and they want me to be around 225 pounds. What are your individual and team goals you hope to accomplish during your college career?

HH: Win four national championships, and continue my football career at the next level. What are you looking to work on the most this spring to prepare yourself for Missouri Valley football?

HH: Understanding defenses and working on my foot work. What future moment are you looking forward to the most as a Bison?

HH: Playing in the National Championship Game. What was the main reason you chose to attend North Dakota State University?

HH: Great winning tradition and great overall tradition. I really seemed to click with the coaches there too. What team do you want to beat the most as a Bison and why?

HH: James Madison, but that was a game I knew we had, and we let it slip through our fingers. Is there any unfinished academic business or are you all set to enroll at NDSU?

HH: I'm all set at NDSU. If you don't make it to the NFL, where do you see yourself in 10 years?

HH: Being a general contractor for my father's construction business. What is it about Coach Klieman and the coaching staff that makes you want to play for them?

HH: They're great people and great coaches, and they can connect well with the team. What is something you learned about North Dakota State University that surprised you during the recruiting process?

HH: How good of people there are in Fargo. What position do you expect to play at NDSU? What other position did the Bison staff mention as a possibility?

HH: I'll be playing quarterback. What have the coaches told you regarding how they plan to utilize your strengths as a player?

HH: They said that they want to open the field up for me and let me throw a little more that what they did this past season. Have you had any communication with other NDSU recruits and if so what?

HH: We have a group chat with all of the 2017 commits in it. What player do you model your game after and why?

HH: Tom Brady, because why would you not model your game after him if you're a quarterback. He's the greatest to ever play.
