Bison tight end signee Josh Babicz can't wait to run out of the tunnel for the first time in the Fargodome

Barrington (Ill.) tight end and new NDSU signee Josh Babicz is the latest Bison to sign in the 2017 class and he went in-depth with the to share more about his reasons to sign with North Dakota State. What is your current height and weight? What weight would the NDSU staff like you to report at this summer?

Josh BabiczI'm 6'6", 225 lbs and I'm supposed to report at 230 lbs. What are your individual and team goals you hope to accomplish during your college career?

JB: Earn a starting position, create many relationships with my teammates and win many championships. What are you looking to work on the most this spring to prepare yourself for Missouri Valley football?

JB: Get stronger and faster so I can compete with the upperclassmen. What future moment are you looking forward to the most as a Bison?

JB: The first time I walk out of the tunnel before my first home game. What was the main reason you chose to attend North Dakota State University?

JB: The fan base was amazing and the culture the football program has. What team do you want to beat the most as a Bison and why?

JB: James Madison because they stopped our run to the championship. Is there any unfinished academic business or are you all set to enroll at NDSU?

JB: The last thing I'm figuring out is my housing. If you don't make it to the NFL, where do you see yourself in 10 years?

JB: Hopefully I am starting my career in some firm or corporation. What is it about Coach Klieman and the coaching staff that makes you want to play for them?

JB: They care a lot about the players and they all have a passion for the game and making us better people. What is something you learned about North Dakota State University that surprised you during the recruiting process?

JB: I learned how much the community is involved with the team and what they do for us. What position do you expect to play at NDSU? What other position did the Bison staff mention as a possibility?

JB: They are expecting me to play tight end, and only that. What have the coaches told you regarding how they plan to utilize your strengths as a player?

JB: They plan to start me off as am on the ball kind of tight end, then eventually I can evolve into a flex tight end. Have you had any communication with other NDSU recruits and if so what?

JB: Yeah we've been all talking in this group chat we've made and I got to meet a lot of them during my official. They are a great group of guys. What player do you model your game after and why?

JB: Nate Jensen because we are both big and athletic kids.
