NDSU wide receiver signee Brant Bohmert knows that his future at bright as a Bison student-athlete

Hunter (N.D.) Northern Cass wide receiver and new NDSU signee Brant Bohmert is the latest Bison to sign in the 2017 class and he went in-depth with the BisonReport.com to share more about his reasons to sign with North Dakota State.

BisonReport.com: What is your current height and weight? What weight would the NDSU staff like you to report at this summer?

Brant Bohmert: My current height and weight is 5'10" 175lb. They didn't tell me specifically what they would want me to be at, but I would like to be in the 180-185 range.

BisonReport.com: What are your individual and team goals you hope to accomplish during your college career?

BB: A team goal would be to win a national championship and I would like to contribute as much as I can to that goal.

BisonReport.com: What are you looking to work on the most this spring to prepare yourself for Missouri Valley football?

BB: I want to get stronger and faster so I can put myself in a better position to earn playing time.

BisonReport.com What future moment are you looking forward to the most as a Bison?

BB: The future moment I'm looking forward to is to win a national championship because that is the expectation at NDSU.

BisonReport.com: What was the main reason you chose to attend North Dakota State University?

BB: The main reason I chose NDSU was because the program itself is second to none. Whether it's the coaches the players or the fans they are all great here in ND.

BisonReport.com: What team do you want to beat the most as a Bison and why?

BB: I would like to beat James Madison because they are the team to beat coming off their national championship.

BisonReport.com: Is there any unfinished academic business or are you all set to enroll at NDSU?

BB: I am set to enroll over summer and have no setbacks.

BisonReport.com: If you don't make it to the NFL, where do you see yourself in 10 years?

BB: I would like to become a physical therapist.

BisonReport.com: What is it about Coach Klieman and the coaching staff that makes you want to play for them?

BB: They're just all around nice guys that know what it takes to win.

BisonReport.com: What is something you learned about North Dakota State University that surprised you during the recruiting process?

BB: Something that surprised me would be that how they treat all the players. It doesn't matter if your a starter or a bench player they get treated the same.

BisonReport.com: What position do you expect to play at NDSU? What other position did the Bison staff mention as a possibility?

BB:  I expect to play a receiver position but I will also be utilized in the special teams. They also looked me at corner for a little bit so I could potentially play that position also.

BisonReport.com: What have the coaches told you regarding how they plan to utilize your strengths as a player?

BB: They told me that they would like me to make plays on the special teams at first because I was successful in special teams in high school.

BisonReport.com: Have you had any communication with other NDSU recruits and if so what?

BB: Yes we have a group chat and that sure has been fun.

BisonReport.com: What player do you model your game after and why?

BB: I would say I model or would like to model my play after Darren Sproles because he is a shifty player that likes to make plays in the open field.
