"Coach Klieman is the North Dakota State coach that offered me, " Illinois linebacker Cortez Hogans said to the BisonReport. "Coach Klanderman and I were just talking during the week, and then on that Friday, he asked me to call the head coach and we were talking about their school and then he said he loves the way I play and gave me a full scholarship offer. It feels great to know that my hard work has paid off and I want to thank them for my first offer. My family was really excited when I told them about the offer, especially my mom. I know that NDSU fans love their football team and it's a really good community up there. I'll be visiting North Dakota State on April 1st."

"I'm very interested in North Dakota State and I look forward to visiting the school here in a few weeks so I can get to know the area and coaching staff better," Hogans explained. "I also now have offers from Southern Illinois, Western Illinois and Illinois State, so we'll see what happens in recruiting going forward. NDSU really likes my speed at linebacker and how aggressive I am and how I'm a fast learner. They're my number one school right now."
