"My visit to North Dakota State was great," Minnesota wide receiver / tight end Brevyn Spann-Ford said to Scout.com. "It was my second time being on campus in Fargo and I spent a lot of time with coach Hedberg, Austin, Jacobs and the head coach Chris Klieman. Coach Hedberg showed us around the whole day and talked a lot with us just about how we were doing and learning more about us. Coach Klieman talked about how they're trying to get us familiar with the staff and about their team and how they do things in Fargo. Coach Klieman is actually the coach that offered me too and he said they wanted to offer because of my size and speed, and they want me at wide receiver. They would like me to play outside so they really believe that I have the speed to get open at the college level. For my school, we run a spread with no tight ends, so I have always played receiver, so I would like to play there, but if my body puts me in a better position to play tight end and makes me an able blocker as well then I'm perfectly okay with that , but I haven't really been in the 3 point stance much. I now have an offer from NDSU in basketball and football, but I'm currently leaning toward playing football only as I think I just have a different passion for game. I'm very interested in visiting NDSU again and attending their camp this summer."
"I also visiting Minnesota for their Junior Day on Saturday, and it was great. I talked a lot with coach Simon and then met up with head coach P.J. Fleck as well. Coach Simon was telling me about attending their summer camp, which I'll be attending and I know it's in early June. Coach Fleck told me he is near an offer, but he wants me to visit again here soon. I'll be visiting Michigan State on Saturday and then I'll be attending the Nike Camp on Sunday. I'm definitely planning at camping at Minnesota and NDSU this summer."
