"I had my best trip by far over the weekend to North Dakota State, and the Bison coaches were really excited to me meet me," Prior Lake (Minn.) defensive tackle Zach Whaley said to Scout.com. "I toured the college (spent 4 hours there), met the coaches and I got some great feed back as to where they see my potential and what I need to work on. They have great facilities as everything you need is there. The new weight room/training facility is amazing."

"I talked a lot with coach Entz and Goeser while at North Dakota State," Whaley explained. "Coach Goeser said I was one of his top guys that he wants and Entz said he wanted to see me at both offensive and defensive at camp. They said they're not going to offer before camp because they want to see and work with me for those two days before they make any offer. That makes me a little frustrated as Minnesota said basically the same thing "come to camp", but be assured I'm excited to compete at the camp. I can't wait! NDSU is an amazing place and the coaches were awesome! They are definitely one of my top choices! I'll also be visiting Iowa, Iowa State and Northern Iowa here soon, starting with Iowa this weekend."
