"I had a chance to visit North Dakota State for their spring game and it was a great visit," Rosemount offensive lineman Ian Bass said to the BisonReport. "I got a tour of the football facilities, talked to some of the staff and watched the spring game and really enjoyed NDSU's physical offensive line play. It was my first time visiting NDSU and I thought it was nice. I really liked the layout North Dakota State has for their campus as everything for football was within walking distance. I thought their facilities were definitely top of the line compared to other FCS program I've seen."
"I talked a lot with coach Riley while I was there," Bass explained. "He talked about the program and how he wants to see people there by who wants to be there. He strongly encouraged me to go to their camp where they'd evaluate me for an offer, and I think it's a good chance to worth with the coaches and show them what I can do. NDSU is a great program and it would be a privileged to play for them and represent the Bison."
More visits and camps are on the way for the Minnesota lineman.
"I've been hearing a lot from Iowa, Northern Illinois, North Dakota, South Dakota, South Dakota State, Northern Iowa and Drake besides NDSU," Bass said. "All those schools have been saying they want to see me left and to come to their camp. I'm tentatively planning on camping at Minnesota, Wisconsin, NDSU, Northern Illinois, North Dakota and South Dakota State, so I'll have a busy summer."
