New Berlin (Wis.) Eisenhower wide receiver Stephen Halusan could be close to a North Dakota State offer

New Berlin (Wis.) Eisenhower wide receiver Stephen Halusan could be close to a North Dakota State offer, and he spoke with Scout about his recruitment.

"Currently, I have been in touch with Minnesota-Duluth, Western Illinois, North Dakota, North Dakota State and San Diego," New Berlin (Wis.) wide receiver Stephen Halusan said to Scout.com. "All those schools are really eager to get me to their camp and onto campus for visits. NDSU have been the most active out of all the schools recruiting me as coach Klanderman has been very reassuring throughout this process saying that the offense staff is on board and very interested in me. They really want me to stay around after the NDSU camp for an unofficial visit and to meet the head coach. Klanderman said that I was a top prospect for the X-receiver position and is excited about continuing to stay in touch throughout the recruitment process. They said they really like my natural ability to go up and get it. Also, they were impressed by my frame and speed."

"I would be speechless to receive an offer from NDSU," Halusan explained. "NDSU is the premier school in the FCS and I would love to have a chance to play for them. They are the top dogs in their conference and I would love to be apart of that success. I have not been able to visit NDSU yet, but I'm really looking forward to the visit at the end of June, though.  I am planning on attending the three day camp and visiting that same weekend. I also am attending the Northern Illinois camp and I'm thinking about the North Dakota camp as well."
