No way... USC wouldn't pursue him b/c he has hardly any head coaching experience, and why would he want to go to a place where you get the axe after one bad season or two? He has a free pass for life here, or close to it. The only way he'd go there is if they offered him the OC position, but he's getting older and has a whole family out here.
As a selfish fan, I hope he does interview for the position and turns them down. That would be a big deal in Wildcatland, and would probably earn him a pretty good raise I would guess.
I could be completely wrong, as these are all guesses, but we shall see.
I think he's smart enough to know that going to USC to work with Kiffin is a most likely short term gig - unless he thinks he'd be the lead candidate then for head job. I think he'll look elsewhere, if he's looking.
