The top quarterback prospect in Illinois was in Ann Arbor this past weekend for an unofficial visit.
Sean Lewis, a 6-foot-7, 210-pound, gunslinger from Oak Lawn (Richards) says he came away impressed with his Michigan visit.
"It (Michigan) was great," Lewis said. "I got a chance to watch practice and I spent some time with the coaches as well.
"Michigan didn't offer me a scholarship but I'm on their recruiting board. We'll have to see what happens this year. Maybe they want to see what I look like as a senior.
"Northwestern is still my only scholarship offer. My favorites are Michigan, Wisconsin, Notre Dame, Northwestern, Iowa, Tennessee and LSU.
"I'm visiting Notre Dame on April 17th and I'm camping this summer at Tennessee and LSU."
Lewis will be a three-year varsity starter on one of Illinois top prep football programs. He was named all-area in 2002.
