"Wisconsin and Iowa have great programs, hopefully Northwestern will show the same thing," said Jackson.
Northwestern's biggest draws with Jackson is their exciting spread offense and great academic prestige, which he expressed strong interest in.
"They run the spread offense, they're really good with academics, which are a good thing to fall back on," Jackson said.
Still a junior in high school with more than a year to make a decision, Jackson admits he has no favorites on his list just yet.
"They all have pretty high interest and I have pretty high interest in all of them," Jackson said. "I've visited all of them except for northwestern, which I'm visiting this weekend. I'd like to get to know all of them so I can make a decision."
With a strong possibility that Jackson receives more offers down the road, he is in no rush to make a commitment.
"I'm going to take it slow and try to find the right school," Jackson said. "I still have pretty much a whole year for me to decide, so I'm going to take my time, and get everything I can out of the schools."
