Since Playko is just a junior, he doesn't have any official visits set up. However, he will be attending the junior days at Toledo and Buffalo, and maybe Duke if he is able to make the drive.
Academics will be a big part of Playko's decision, and he cited Northwestern's strong academic reputation as a reason for his interest in the school.
"Academics are the most important thing in life," he said.
Playko also liked the environment at Northwestern and the atmosphere during football games.
"I really loved the campus there and the energy was amazing during the game. It would be great place to go," he said.
While Playko insists he has no favorite school right now, he plans to keep talking to coaches and make a decision before the start of his senior season.
"Hopefully I'll be committing by the end of the summer in order to secure spot on team," he said.
While the future is still uncertain for Playko, his school search has already kicked into full gear. And while he doesn't know where he will spend the next four years yet, he has one goal in mind.
"I just really want to play college football," he said.
