King Drafted by the Bucs....

The 2003 Super Bowl Champion Tampa Bay Bucaneers drafted Northwestern Center Austin King in the 4th round.

Austin King was considered Northwestern's top offensive lineman during his 4 years, taking over the Center slot as a Freshman [he replaced Colorado's Wayne Lucier midway through the season] and started every game except one [He was injured].

NU Coach Randy Walker has called him the best Center he's had in his coaching career, and had predicted prior to the draft that King would play for a long, long time. He gets his shot with the Tampa Bay starting this fall.
