Kyeremeh Hopes For NU Official

Thomas Worthington (OH) High School defensive back Nana Kyeremeh is very interested in Northwestern and now has an offer in hand, the only problem is that he has never seen campus. This fall, he's hoping to change that with an official visit to Northwestern.

Kyeremeh (5-10, 165) added an offer from the Wildcats in June and has always been interested in the school. The next step is for the talented defensive back to visit campus. He is setting up plans for an official visit during the fall.

More than a month into being offered by Northwestern, Kyeremeh is interested in the school. Making a visit will be a key step in his recruitment with the Wildcats.

"I want to see the city, the campus, meet the coaches, see how the football team practices, and get a feel how they work," Nana Kyeremeh said.

Currently, there is no favorite for Kyeremeh. He remains open to all schools. However, Kyeremeh has a definite interest in Northwestern.

"I heard it's really good academically which is good," Kyeremeh said. "It's in the Big Ten so I'm excited about that. It seems like a pretty good school."

During his recruitment, Kyeremeh has built a good relationship Northwestern assistant coach Matt MacPherson—his lead recruiter. While making his official visit, Kyeremeh hopes to meet with Pat Fitzgerald.

"I haven't talked to him yet but I hear he's a really nice guy and a good coach," he said.

Kyeremeh has offers from Northwestern, Akron, Ball State, Boston College, Toledo, West Virginia, and Vanderbilt. He recently checked out West Virginia—another school who recently offered—and reported a good visit.

These visits will be a major part in Kyeremeh's decision-making process.

"I'm going to take all my officials and see which ones I like," Kyeremeh said. "I'll probably make my decision after the season is over."
