"It's one of the nicest schools I've been to," Reisner said. "I really like the location by the lake, and the football field is really nice. I like how it's in a good neighborhood."
Reisner made the trip up to Evanston on June 23 for a Northwestern camp. He said he wasn't completely satisfied with his performance at the camp, but said it was difficult adjusting to Evanston conditions.
"The day I went there was pretty bad conditions," Reisner said. "I still feel like I did pretty well, though. My kickoffs could have been better, especially since that's what I'm best at."
Reisner also listed Illinois, Iowa State, Rutgers, and Western Michigan on his list of top schools, and he has attended camps at Purdue, Northern Illinois, Northwestern, Illinois, and Western Michigan. Despite that interest, however, Reisner insists Northwestern is at the top of his list.
"Northwestern would probably be my number one. Then Illinois, then Rutgers," Reisner said.
Asked what stood out about Northwestern, Reisner said the campus for Northwestern was the nicest he has visited, and he is also a fan of the strong academic standards the school provides.
"It's a really good school and they have a pretty good football team, so that's always really good," he said. "I'd like to go to a school where I can get a good degree as well as play on the football team."
Reisner said he hasn't heard from the NU coaches recently, but that he would "definitely" like to hear from the Northwestern coaches before the summer ends, adding: "I would love to go to Northwestern."
