DePietro Makes Scout 300

Fox Sports/ released their updated recruit rankings and a new Scout 300. One Northwestern commitment has entered the rankings and a few of the Wildcats' top prospects are also in the mix.

Lancaster (PA) Catholic High School guard Adam DePietro is now ranked as a four-star offensive guard. In addition, DePietro is now Scout's 11th-ranked offensive guard.

Pat Fitzgerald has signed two four-star prospects as head coach of Northwestern. Jordan Mabin was the first four-star signed by Fitzgerald. The most recent four-star addition was Davon Custis in the 2009 recruiting class.

A number of Northwestern's top prospects are also now ranked in the Scout 300. Glenbard West defensive tackle Tommy Schutt remains a five-star and is the 40th-ranked overall prospect. Centerville (OH) High School linebacker Ifeadi Odenigbo is the third-ranked outside linebacker in Scout's rankings. Four-star cornerback Davonte Neal is also in the top-100 rankings.

Other prospects cracking the Scout 300 include four-star linebacker Quanzell Lambert, Lake Forest Academy defensive end Faith Ekakitie, and four-star safety Seth Jacobs.
