Gloston Sets Decision Day

Colonia (FL) High School outside linebacker Jeremy Gloston is getting closer to a decision. He has a special date in mind for his commitment and now has two favorite schools. What is going to make the difference for the sunshine state star?

Jeremy Gloston has the perfect birthday present picked in mind for his mother. On October 16th—his mother's birthday—Gloston will give his verbal commitment.

"I was talking to my brother and we were trying to decide a good time to do it," Gloston said. "He just thought that my mom's birthday would be the perfect day to do it. The best birthday present would be her not having to pay for my college."

Gloston (6-2, 190) holds offers from Northwestern, Buffalo, Illinois, Washington State, and a few others. Two schools currently standout.

"Northwestern and Illinois both have great education and their football team is doing very well," he said. "They seem like a good fit for me."

Gloston is a jack of all trades for Colonial High School. He plays running back, wide receiver, tight end, defensive end, and linebacker. Both Northwestern and Illinois are recruiting him to play outside linebacker.

For now, Gloston does not have any visits set up, but he is making plans to visit both Northwestern and Illinois during the month of September.

In making a decision, Gloston is looking for a few specific things. One aspect stands out more than anything.

"The education of course," he said. "(Also) atmosphere for the school, the team, the coaches, and if I feel that it's the best fit for me."
