After a heartbreaking loss last week, Northwestern has upset on their mind as 11th-ranked Michigan comes to Ryan Field. It's bound to be a fun night as the two teams will entertain a sellout crowd in primetime. Get set for the game and catch up on the week that was.
Battle of the quarterbacks
If you like good quarterback play, this game will get your juices flowing. Returning All-Big Ten quarterback Dan Persa will match up with Michigan's Heisman candidate quarterback, Denard Robinson. Persa has yet to play a full game, while after five games, Robinson has himself in the running for every major award. There are a lot of interesting storylines for this game, but the showdown of marquee quarterbacks is bound to create some interest.

Finding an identity on offense
Northwestern has had three different quarterbacks and five different running backs play meaningful snaps this season. Simply put, it's been hard for the Wildcats to find an identity on offense. With Mike Trumpy lost for the season, it won't get any easier. Dan Persa is back for his second start, so Northwestern has to hope they can settle in on offense. If not, they will have trouble finding the endzone.
Upset in mind
Unbeaten Michigan provides a tough challenge for the Wildcats, but they have an upset in mind for Saturday night. The Wolverines will endure their first road game of the season, and Northwestern is hoping to hand them their first loss of the season.
A long guest list
With the lights on and a full house at Ryan Field, it's a big weekend for Northwestern recruiting. The Wildcat football and basketball team will host a number of recruits this weekend. PurpleWildcats.com has a list of visitors for Saturday's game.
