Wildcats Jump Ahead

Northwestern owns a 14-7 lead over Michigan in the first quarter.

If the first few minutes are any indication, we're in for a show. Michigan marched down the field to strike first, but Northwestern would respond.

Kain Colter, who has rotated in at quarterback, ran in for a 15-yard touchdown to tie the game at seven.

After an Ibraheim Campbell interception, the Wildcats would drive to the endzone again. Freshman running back Treyvon Green capped off the drive with a touchdown.

The Wolverines drew first blood on an eight-play, 74-yard drive, which was highlighted by a 48-yard pass from Denard Robinson to Junior Hemingway.

As expected, Dan Persa made his second start of the season. He struggled on the first drive of the game, completing just one of three passes which forced a punt.

Northwestern is donning black jerseys and black pants today, marking the first time in program history which they have worn such a uniform combination.
