Comments - A prospect to that has gained a lot of attention during the May Evaluation period is Greenville (Ill.) Bond County Community Unit #2 offensive lineman Ben Winslow.
Bond County is in southern part of Illinois and Winslow could be one of the hidden gems in the Class of 2004.
Those of you trying to find Bond County Community #2 won't find it on any maps or phone directories because its simply called Greenville High School to the outside world.
"Down here its called Bond County Community Unit #2," said Winslow. "Its not Bond County or Greenville, its Bond County Community Unit #2. I know it's a mouthful but you need to get it right."
Ok, now that we finally got the name of the school out of the way, does Winslow have any scholarship offers?
"Nope, none yet." Winslow said. "Purdue, Illinois, Stanford and Western Illinois have all called.
"My favorites are San Diego State, Northwestern, Stanford, Illinois, Purdue and Missouri.
"I like San Diego State a lot. I know they don't recruit much out here but I'd love to hear from them."
Winslow moved to Greenville, Illinois from Seattle, Washington and will be a three-year varsity starter in 2003.
"I graded out at 89% for the season." Winslow said. "That's the second highest mark in school history.
"I had 73 tackles and three sacks as a defensive tackle last year also. I like defense but I'm being recruited as an offensive lineman."
Winslow also starts at center for the Greenville basketball team. Ben says he'll be camping this summer and is unsure of his stops at this time.
