LIVE: Hawkeyes Take Command

After surrendering 17 unanswered points, Iowa has taken the lead back.

Iowa QB James Vandenberg connected with senior WR Marvin McNutt for a 35-yard touchdown pass, then kicker Mike Meyer would connect on his second field goal, which would give the Hawkeyes a 34-17 lead.

The Hawkeyes taken a double-digit lead after allowing Northwestern to comeback and tie the game at 17.

The Wildcats' comeback was highlighted by a second-quarter touchdown catch by Jeremy Ebert, and later in the third quarter, Adonis Smith marched in for his second touchdown of the season.

Northwestern has dominated in time of possession and total yardage, but their biggest glitch thus far came on Tanner Miller's 98-yard interception return for a touchdown.
