McNaul, Scott Out Against IU

Northwestern's weekly injury report revealed some unfortunate news for the Wildcats as they enter Saturday's game with Indiana.

Pat Fitzgerald shook up his starting lineup against Penn State, but doing so as a motivational influence. This Saturday against Indiana, Fitzgerald won't have a say in the decision.

Northwestern will be without usual starters linebacker Bryce McNaul (back) and defensive end Tyler Scott (shoulder), who are each listed as 'out' for Saturday's game. Both McNaul and Scott did not participate in practice this week.

McNaul and Scott have averaged a combine 9.7 tackles per game this season

Junior safety Jared Carpenter is also unavailable to play against Indiana—just one week after making a start.

Mike Trumpy (knee) and Tony Jones (knee) are also listed as 'out' on the injury report.
