Bears In Control

Baylor owns a 38-21 lead over the Wildcats at the halftime break.

After playing down low and shooting well outside the past few games, Northwestern is off to a terrible start against Baylor. The Wildcats are shooting 28.6-percent from the floor and just 15-percent from three, as they trail the Bears 38-21 at the break.

Baylor is dominating the Cats inside and guarding the perimeter well. With no inside presence, NU was forced to throw up threes.

Mirkovic, after improving in the last few games, seems lost, and he and Curletti are just overmatched by the tall, athletic Bears.

The Cats have a daunting task to try to come back from a 17-point deficit against the No. 7 team I the country, but if they want any chance at all they must improve from three and try to find some disruption down low, defensively.
