Sophomore QB Visits Evanston

Oak Lawn Richards (Ill.) sophomore QB Tommy Mister is a young guy to watch and recently visited a Big Ten school for his first unofficial visit.

After winning the job, sophomore Tommy Mister stepped in at Oak Lawn Richards and took charge. The 6'1, 180-lb dual threat quarterback then established himself as a young prospect to watch. "The first three games were okay games, because I had to get used to the speed and quickness at the next level and the different coverages defenses threw at me, but after week three, it got easier and I was playing pretty good."

One of the programs that has noticed, did not have to go far to do so, as the Northwestern Wildcats recently invited Mister to campus for an unofficial visit, which he took them up on.

"I enjoyed the visit to Northwestern," he said. "It was pretty nice and I got to see college football live for the first time and the coaching staff was great. I met Adam Cushing and Pat Fitzgerald. They got to know me on a personal level, but really couldnt say much because of my age."

By the time he is a senior, Mister will have many letters and have many calls to field, but for now, he's happy to hear from the few schools that have contacted him.

"I've also got a letter from Oregon after week two, but that was it. I'd like to hear from any school in the Big Ten and Auburn. I love Auburn."
