Odenigbo Commits To Northwestern

Northwestern has picked up a big verbal commitment, coming from four-star linebacker Ifeadi Odenigbo.

Northwestern has added its 20th verbal commit, and likely one of the biggest splashes of the class. Four-star linebacker Ifeadi Odenigbo has given his commitment to Pat Fitzgerald and the Wildcats.

Odenigbo, a 6-foot-4, 220-pound linebacker, made his commitment official at an announcement from his home, surrounded by family and friends. He chose Northwestern over Notre Dame and Stanford.

Odenigbo had picked up offers from more than 20 schools during his recruitment, and garnered nation-wide attention. He recently played in the Under Armour All-American game.

Northwestern has been in heavy pursuit of Odenigbo since early in his junior year. Odenigbo developed a strong relationship with Coach Fitzgerald, as well as NU linebackers coach Randy Bates.
