Receiver Hearing From NU

6-foot-3, 200 pound senior Jalen Robinette is up to five offers. Check out what the wide receiver has to say about them as well as which other schools he's been hearing from.

Bexley HS (OH) senior Jalen Robinette currently holds offers from Air Force, Army, Ohio, Bowling Green and Fordham. With Signing Day less than a month away, the wide receiver says that three schools are currently standing out.

"I really like Air Force, Army and Ohio. I know I would get a great education at Air Force and Army. I've also been to Ohio a lot and like it."

He's also been talking to Purdue, Michigan State, Indiana, Northwestern, Duke and Vanderbilt.

"In high school I played quarterback. So, since I didn't play receiver in high school, but am being recruited as one, those schools just want to see more of me."

Now that the season is over, the senior plans on hitting the weight room and working on running routes.

"Since I didn't really play a lot of receiver I need to practice my routes and just focus on the little things."

Robinette will be visiting Air Force January 20-22 and is hoping to make his decision soon after.

"The recruiting process has been stressful. I've been talking about it a lot lately with my parents. You just have to think about what you're doing after college. With Air Force, I know I'll come out and have a job. You need to have a backup plan after football. Playing football just makes college a better experience. Distance doesn't bother me. I've never been out west, but I can just adjust to it."
