"My junior season was really good, because we were the underdogs all season, and me being a new guy, things were great," Chapman stated. "My recruitment has been so amazing, and I feel so blessed with all my offers. I'm honored to be considered by all these great teams. I couldn't ask for more."
"My head coach told me about the Pittsburgh offer, and that impressed me so much," he explained. "I have a good friend playing up at Wisconsin, Jeff Duckworth, and he told Coach (Paul) Chryst about me. They checked out my film, and they called my coach and told him they were offering. I'm looking forward to visiting Pitt this spring, and I'm definitely interested."
"My latest offer is from Boston College, and that came from (assistant coach) Jim Bollman, and we knew each other when he was at Ohio State," he added. "Coach Bollman extended the offer, and I think a lot of Boston College. They told me some schools might like me as an athlete, but they see me as a quarterback."
Although nothing is set in stone, Chapman could be taking in a few other schools this spring.
"I don't have anything set, but I'm probably going to go to Ohio State and Illinois in the next few weeks," he noted. "I have a calendar with a bunch of dates for practices and games, but we haven't set anything yet."
"I was already at Cincinnati for junior day, and I'd like to get back down there," he continued. "I'm also thinking about going to Northwestern, and I'm very interested in that program. The only combines I'm going to attend for sure are the Elite-11 and Nike Camp in Columbus in May. I will set my college camp schedule later on as well."
