2013 Intro: Justin Porter

Justin Porter is a standout defensive back from Chaminade-Madonna High and so lets take a closer look at him as a prospect.

Name: DB Justin Porter

School: Chaminade Madonna HS (Hollywood, Fla)

Size: 5-9/180

2011 season stats: Porter finished his junior season with 60 tackles and 10 pass breakups.

Grades: 4.2 GPA/no test score

Recruiting: Porter lists Miami (childhood favorite), Vanderbilt, Northwestern, Princeton, and Cornell as his early favorites. Princeton and Cornell have already offered, he says. Porter says a great education is the primary thing he'll be looking for in a school.

As a Prospect: One of two Division 1 prospects in the Chaminade secondary last season, Porter can play cornerback or safety. He is very physical, he's around the football a lot, and has a good football IQ. He projects better as a safety in college, and could play deep or down in the box. He has that versatility. He's an outstanding student and is already being recruited by some of the Ivy League schools. He's a Division 1 prospect in the 2013 class for sure.
