NU Impresses Four-Star Guard

Four-star point guard Jaren Sina, a Top-100 prospect, visited Northwestern's campus on Sunday. He toured the facilities, met with NU's coaching staff, and left feeling impressed by the visit. "It left a big impression," Sina told "I didn't expect the university to be this nice."

Sina, a standout guard for Gill St. Bernards in Gladstone, N.J., toured Northwestern's campus and basketball facilities, and spent time with longtime recruiter Fred Hill, and Bill Carmody, whom he had never met before.

"I've known Coach Hill for a while now, but it was great getting the chance to speak with Coach Carmody in person," Sina said.

Sina was most impressed by Northwestern's campus, which featured perfect weather on his Sunday tour.

"The campus was beautiful," he said. "And just getting the opportunity to see the facilities was great.

The guard also holds scholarship offers from Alabama, Cincinnati, Memphis, Miami, Rutgers, Saint John's, and Virginia.
