"I spent three hours at Wisconsin," Cochran said. "I liked it a lot, I got to see the renovations they're doing with the facilities, met a few lineman that are working out for the NFL Draft and saw some of the campus. Andy Buh was the only coach there since it was Spring Break but it was cool to meet him.
"They have had an incredible number of All-American lineman come out of Wisconsin and the tradition they have is really strong. They have offered yet but Coach Buh said they plan to come out during spring ball and watch me work out."
Cochran then drove straight from Wisconsin to Northwestern and spent a couple of hours on the Wildcat campus.
"I didn't spend as much time there, it was a pretty quick trip overall," Cochran said. "I took a short tour of the campus but it was nice there and they're doing some new things to their facilities as well. The school is right next to Lake Michigan and it's a cool place.
"I like the offense there a lot, it's fast paced and the academics are very strong as well. We really focused the most on the academics there. They haven't offered either but said they want to come down in the spring."
Wednesday Cochran spent the entire day at Notre Dame and the Irish made a big impression on the lineman.
"I was there from eight in the morning until five at night," Cochran said. "I already knew a lot about the tradition but I didn't know it was like that. It's an incredible place and they have had some great players go through the school. I really like coach Kelly a lot as well and his overall philosophy on coaching.
"You can tell he's about more than just wins and losses. I mean every coach says that but with him, I believe it. I watched spring practice in the morning and then toured the campus. Coach Denbrock is the one who is recruiting me and we have a good relationship. Overall, it was a great visit and I really like Notre Dame a lot."
Cochran took Thursday off and then hit up Purdue on Friday.
"Purdue offered me on the visit so that was great," Cochran said. "I was only there for a couple of hours, I was pretty tired at that point in the week. Coach Hope showed me around and told me I could play right away if I went there. They have the biggest indoor facility in the country and a really nice campus as well.
"Overall, I enjoyed all the tour and I'm going to shut things down now in terms of visits. I'm going to do the NIKE camp in Oregon in June and will probably do the Cal camp June 15 as well. That's when my brother Matt enrolls at Cal and it's also my birthday so that should be cool. I plan to take all five of my official visits but I'm not sure where I'm going yet. I don't think I'll visit anywhere out West since I can drive there but I'll figure out where I'm going later in the year."
