King tabbed as Scout three-star

Northwestern verbal commit Blake King was tabbed a three-star prospect by the experts at, part of the network's updated recruiting rankings.

King, a 6-foot-4, 250-pounder, was ranked the 55th-best offensive guard in the nation, while receiving three stars. This ranking came in conjunction with the updated rankings, which included 1,500 prospects from around the country.

King gave his verbal commitment to Northwestern on May 1, just one day after receiving an offer from the Wildcats. He is the second and most recent addition to NU's 2013 recruiting class, joining four-star quarterback prospect Matthew Alviti.

The rankings are continuously updated, up until being finalized in January of 2013, shortly before National Signing Day.
