Brian Piszczor (PEE – ZOR), a 5-foot-11, 180-pound, cornerback from New Lenox (Ill.) Providence Catholic is a prospect to watch in 2003.
Piszczor is a cover corner with 4.4 speed and he lines up against the opponent's best receiver night in and night out.
Providence is a perennial power house in Illinois and Celtic head coach Matt Senffner feels he has a special player in Brian Piszczor.
"He (Piszczor) is our best cover guy," said Senffner. "Brian hits like a safety and he has 10.5 speed in the 100-meters.
"Brian shut down Bobby Buchanan (Illinois) last year and we'll line him up against the best wide receivers this year."
Does Brian Piszczor have any scholarship offers yet?
"No offers yet," said Piszczor. "Northwestern, Illinois and some Ivy League schools called during May but no offers yet.
"My favorites are Illinois, Northwestern, Indiana, Iowa and the Ivy League schools."
Piszczor finished the 2002 season with 72 tackles and two interceptions. Brian is a three-sport athlete that also participates in basketball and track.
