When the Wildcats took the field for the game-winning drive in the fourth quarter against Syracuse, junior quarterback Kain Colter was not on the field; instead, it was sophomore Trevor Siemian. Colter believed Siemian allowed the team a better chance to win as he battled a rib injury.
