Allen visits Evanston; ready for decision

Northwestern hosted three-star forward Noah Allen on campus. Now, the talented prospect is preparing for his verbal commitment. Will the Wildcats land the services of Allen? PurpleWildcats offers the latest news.

Noah Allen spent the weekend in Evanston bonding with the Northwestern Wildcats. He returned to his home of Salinas, Calif. feeling impressed with the experience.

"It's a great academic school," Allen said on Sunday. "The coaching staff, they're all really great guys. The players, I bonded well with them, too. [Northwestern] is loooking good."

Allen, a three-star forward, will now meet with his parents and coaches to make a decision. It will be either Northwestern or Washington State.

"I've still got to figure out the pros and cons of each school," Allen said.

Allen visited Pullman, Wash. just two weeks ago.

During Allen's visit on Northwestern's campus, he spent plenty of time getting to know the Wildcat players. They toured Evanston, went to the football game, and had a great experience together.

"They're really cool guys," said Allen of the Wildcats. "They were a lot like me. It was really easy to relate with them."

Allen has become a top target of Northwestern's. Coaches Bill Carmody and Tavaras Hardy have twice visited Allen in California, making their interest very evident.

What will make the difference for Allen's decision?

"I honestly don't know yet," he said. "It's up in the air right now."
