VanHoose's status uncertain for Saturday

Northwestern redshirt freshman cornerback Nick VanHoose is listed as 'questionable' for Saturday's game with Michigan.

Nick VanHoose is listed as 'questionable' to play against Michigan on Saturday. The redshirt freshman continues to recover from a shoulder injury suffered against Nebraska.

VanHoose could benefit from Northwestern's bye week, that following a week on the sidelines during the Wildcats' win over Iowa.

Should VanHoose not play, cornerback Daniel Jones is likely to assume his role.

Northwestern will also be without safety Hunter Bates on Saturday. He has not played yet this season. It remains unclear whether Michigan quarterback Denard Robinson will play in Saturday's game.

NU's record stands at 7-2 on the season, and behind Michigan in the Legends Division standings.
