2015 ATH Keith Washington plans second trip

Steven Goldstein writes that 2015 athlete offer Keith Washington will visit Northwestern again this June.

Despite continued interest from Southern standouts Miami, Duke, North Carolina and Central Florida, Keith Washington still plans to come up north again.

"Last time, it was a great visit," the 2015 athlete said of his time at the Wildcats' annual spring game. "They're really nice people up there. I got to see all the facilities and go out for ice cream and all that."

Washington says he still plans to see another six or seven schools before narrowing down his growing list of offers. Though he's mainly been scouted as a defensive back, NU could gain an edge by offering Washington a quarterback spot.

The class of 2015 will take one quarterback. In April, Washington stayed with class of 2013 QB recruit Matt Alviti.

Washington adds that the school's lakeside facilities plan looks like "one of the best in the country, definitely in the top five." He's firm on a late July, early August decision, and Northwestern remains in the running.

He's currently targeting the middle of June for a second visit.
