Lemke-Bell will visit NU for first time

2015 offensive tackle Adam Lemke-Bell told PurpleWildcats.com that he would visit Northwestern this weekend.

"It's a great program with great coaches," he told PW on May 16. "It's all around a good fit."

Despite living only 45 minutes from campus, Lemke-Bell only informally visited NU during a wrestling tournament. He's the starting heavyweight for Oak Park (Ill.) OPRF High—which hints at his tremendous upside.

The Wildcats rank in the top-25 of the Scout.com team recruiting rakings. Still, they need to address the future offensive line, which was their major weakness in 2013.

Lemke-Bell wants to assess the overall fit of Northwestern. Interestingly, he has minimal interest in discussing academics, given that all schools he considers will be strong in that department.

The rising prospect holds major conference offers including Illinois, Iowa State, Minnesota, Mississippi State and Syracuse. Many recruiting analysts, including Allen Trieu of Scout.com, consider NU a potential leader in his recruitment.
