Presser Notes: Ellis out again

Updates on Collin Ellis' concussion and a few intriguing depth chart decisions.

- Pat Fitzgerald confirmed that Collin Ellis has another concussion, and will be held out of the Nebraska game Saturday. Ellis, who was off to a fantastic start this season, is not listed on this week's depth chart.

- There were a few other noteworthy listings on the depth chart. Treyvon Green is still listed as the starting running back over Justin Jackson, and Max Chapman, who missed this weekend's game and has yet to start for the Wildcats, ranks ahead of Deonte Gibson and Ifeadi Odenigbo at defensive end. Ibraheim Campbell, meanwhile, is listed as a co-starter at safety with Godwin Igwebuike. Campbell has missed all of Big Ten play with a hamstring injury.

- When asked about how Northwestern would defend another Nebraska Hail Mary, Fitzgerald quipped that he would rush 12 defenders.

- Chance Carter, on facing Ameer Abdullah: "He makes you miss more than Cobb does. He's pretty good."

- On the Hail Mary last year: "That play works once every 100 tries. It's in the past. But now that it's happened to us, we pay attention to it a lot more. We've seen that other teams have been more successful with it this year."

- Paul Jorgensen on playing Nebraska: "Their fan base travels very well. It's going to be a great atmosphere with Homecoming. The game's gone down to the wire the past few years, and I don't think it'll be any different this year."

- Anthony Walker on the redshirt freshman class: "We're coming along. We've matured a lot since camp. We're being there when our number is called. We're not trying to do too much."
