In the words of famous sportscaster… "Whoaaaa Nillyyyy!!" What a big weekend for Northwestern University, the Wildcat football team, the fans and of course the recruits.
Michigan comes a calling to Ryan Field tomorrow afternoon and the Wildcats will be hosting 30+ high school prospects.
Here's a look at the top prospects coming in:
Andre Butler, a 5-foot-10, 185-pound defensive back from South Holland (Ill.) Thornridge will be on hand….or will he? Butler is also scheduled to be in Madison on Saturday for an unofficial with the Badgers. Can Butler be in two places at the same time? If so, Andre will be our first "6-Star" prospect.
Committed running back Akeem Hunter from Chicago (Leo) will be on an unofficial visit.
Michigan tight end Mike Dery was supposed to be in Evanston last weekend but had to cancel at the 11th hour. Dery will be in attendance tomorrow afteroon.
Tim & Terrence Jaison from Harvey (Ill.) Thornton will be coming and this is huge for the Wildcats. Tim Jamison's stock has been on the rise all year and his brother Terrence will be highly recruited next season…No, Marcus Randle El isn't supposed to be at the game but you never know.
Holland (MI) West Ottawa offensive lineman Ryan McDonald will be making the trip to the game. McDonald hasn't been offered yet but the ‘Cats are keeping him warm.
Bartlett, Illinois tight end Ryan Tuggle has a Northwestern scholarship offer and would be a super addition to this recruiting class.
Chris Jeske, a super junior linebacker from Joliet (Ill.) Catholic will be taking in the game as well. He's been offered by Northwestern. Could Jeske bee next Joliet Catholic linebacker to play for the Wildcats since Mike Ostrowski?
