Brad Bower, a 6-foot-2, 185-pound, quarterback from Hinsdale (Ill.) Central will be among the top prospects in the Land of Lincoln in 2002.
Bower will be a three-year starter for the Red Devils and he was very impressive on the camp circuit last summer as several college coaches were raving about his ability.
"I'm hearing from Northwestern, Illinois, Penn State, Boston College, Indiana, Nebraska, Indiana, Ohio State and UCLA. I don't have any offers yet." Bower said.
My early favorites are Northwestern, Illinois, Iowa, Boston College and Penn State. I'll camp at Northwestern, Illinois, Iowa, Purdue and maybe UCLA, Michigan and Miami (Fla.)."
Bower threw for 1,000 yards and 14 touchdowns in 2001. He also had 400 yards rushing and eight touchdowns.
