That included wins at 18 major tournaments, but the good news for Northwestern Fans was that NU's Luke Donald finally made the cut at the British Open championship.
He's been trying to play the full tourney since he graduated from Northwestern and turned pro. Even with a double bogey early in his 2nd round, he managed to finish at -3, enough to continue play tomorrow.
Tom Watson, who also was part of the threesome, finished at +1 and also made the cut.
We'll have more as the Open Championship continues.
