Otto Linwood, a 6-foot-1, 285-pound, defensive tackle from Frankfort (Ill) Lincoln-Way East is a sleeper prospect to watch in the Midwest for 2002.

Linwood will be a two-year varsity starter for Head Coach Rob Zvonar and he has the respect of his head coach and other coaches in his conference.

"Otto's a solid prospect," Zvonar said. "He can't be blocked one on one. Otto is explosive and strong. He made a ton of plays for us last year.

"Otto is a solid student and he's a young man of fine character. I'd recommend him to any program in the nation."

Linwood had 78 tackles, two sacks and two fumble recoveries as a junior. Those numbers were good enough to earl all-conference honors.

"Northwestern, Illinois, Iowa, Wisconsin and Northern Illinois are showing the most interest." Linwood said.

"My favorites are Michigan, Wisconsin, UCLA, Illinois and Miami (Fla.). I'm going to camps this summer at Northern Illinois, Illinois and the Northwestern Technique Camp."
