but this year it took 18 points from Vedran Vukusic, 10 from Mohamed Hachad, and scoring from 5 more Wildcats to get the win.
The Cats outscored the Pirates by one point in each half, but trailed with 4 seconds. Hachad put in the back door layup to win the game, and score in double figures.
Once again, the Wildcats had trouble from the arc, including Vukusic's 2 for 7. Craig Moore hit one of two, as the Cats were 3 of 15 from 3 point land. They also shot 16 of 52 from the floor, just under 31%. Seton Hall shot even worse, they were 12 of 51 from the field [23.5%] and 6 of 25 from the arc.
Seton Hall also turned the ball over 20 times, the Cats 11.
NU is back in action Friday at home against DePauw.
