Wildcat QB Target - Brad Bower

Former Northwestern offensive coordinator Kevin Wilson saw something special in Brad Bower more than three years ago when Bower attended the Wildcat summer camp. The Wildcats were the first to offer a scholarship but they weren't the last. Bower says he'll make his college decision soon.

"I have it narrowed down to Purdue, Illinois and Northwestern." Bower said. "Northwestern was the first to offer. Illinois and Purdue offered at their camps.

"I'm going to call the coaches from each school very soon and at that time I'll make my decision. I have some questions I need to ask.

"I wouldn't say there's a leader. All three schools are on equal ground."

Bower will be a three-year varsity starter for the Red Devils. He threw for 1,000 yards and 14 touchdowns and he rushed for 400 yards and eight touchdowns in 2001.
