Devon Parks, a 6-foot-3, 245-pound, defensive end, linebacker from Libertyville, Illinois has made the most of his camp and combine performances this summer.
Parks wasn't on the radar of college recruiters in May but he'll be looked at very closely in the fall.
"I don't have an offer yet." Parks said. "I started playing football as a sophomore. I think the coaches wanted to bring me along slowly so they put on the offensive and defensive line.
"I camped at Northwestern, Wisconsin and I also attended a couple of combines this summer. I ran a 4.7 at the Northwestern camp and I also had a time of 3.9 in the pro-agility test.
"I'm starting to get a lot of mail now. I'd say that Northwestern, Maryland, Wisconsin, UCLA and USC are my favorites. Wisconsin would be my leader right now."
Look for big things from Devon Parks in 2002.
