Closing in on Twenty Offers

Scout.com three-star prospect Sean Cattouse, a 6-foot-3, 196-pound athlete from Hubbard High in Chicago, Ill. is one of most heavily recruited players in the Midwest.

Cattouse reports that he has racked up 18 official scholarship offers and he is mainly concentrating on the Big Ten schools.

"The offers that I can remember right now are Illinois, Minnesota, Purdue, Northwestern, Boston College, New Mexico, Mississippi State, Kansas State, Iowa State, Connecticut, North Carolina, Central Michigan and Northern Illinois."

"I would say that Illinois, Minnesota, Purdue and Northwestern are the schools that are sticking out right now."

"I just grew up watching the Big Ten. I have been to each school over the past year and I just have a good feel for the coaches and players at each school. Those are the main reasons these schools have separated themselves."

"I am the most familiar with Northwestern. I went to a lot of their games growing up. I have always been a fan."

Cattouse was moved up to the varsity as a sophomore and played quarterback and safety. As a junior, Cattouse passed for 700 yards and 12 touchdowns. He also rushed for 450 yards and 10 touchdowns.
