"Right now Northwestern is my leader, said Bellbrook, Ohio quarterback Jack O'Dell. "Cincinnati is behind Northwestern and I'm also looking at Indiana, Illinois and Miami (Ohio).
The 6-foot, 170-pound, quarterback from the Buckeye State has been a very productive quarterback at the prep level but he's projected as a defensive back at the next level.
O'Dell had 1,450 yards passing and 15 touchdowns and also had 1,400 yards and 12 scores on the ground. Jack also had three interceptions on the defensive side of the ball.
O'Dell was an all-state selection in 2001. He's also a standout baseball player and Purdue is recruiting him for that sport. O'Dell has been named all-area the past three seasons on the diamond.
O'Dell camped at Northwestern, Miami (Ohio), Ball State and he attended the (Michigan State) Nike Camp.
O'Dell doesn't have any scholarship offers at this time. He carries a 3.4 GPA in the classroom and he scored 30 on his ACT.
