"I finished the regular season with 87 tackles and five sacks," said defensive end Kambium Buckner.
"Northwestern, Indiana, Miami (Ohio) and Eastern Illinois have all offered me a scholarship.
"I have official visits set up with Miami, Ohio (12-6) and Illinois (12-13) right now and I'll be setting up the rest of my visits soon."
Buckner, a 6-foot-4, 260-pounder, from Chicago (Morgan Park) is a three-year varsity starter and was named all-city as a junior.
Does Buckner have a leader right now?
"Northwestern, Purdue and Miami (Ohio) are my top three. Purdue (Mark Hagan) called tonight and said they really liked my game films and they could be offering me a scholarship soon.
"Michigan State and Illinois are also in my top five."
Buckner is an Illinois Top 30 prospect and he's one of the best defensive end prospects in the Midwest.
