"I still don't have any scholarship offers," said defensive back Brian Jones.
"A lot of schools have been calling. Indiana, Pittsburgh, Notre Dame, Northwestern, Syracuse and Stanford are all showing strong interest.
"My favorites right now are Indiana, Northwestern, Wisconsin, Northwestern and Pittsburgh."
Jones, a 6-foot, 183-pounder, from Avon Lake, Ohio was considered during the May Evaluation as one of the best prospects in the Buckeye State.
Jones is a three-year varsity starter that has been timed at 4.38 seconds in the 40-yard dash. Avon Lake (9-1) begins play-off action this weekend against Copley.
